Nicole Should Have Skipped The Physics Degree and Gone Straight To Circus School
We ask your fellow strivers in fitness personal questions, they boldly answer. Today's snapshot: Nicole, aka londontransplant.
- What's your number one workout spot? FRAME in Shoreditch, London.
- What's the best thing in your gym bag? My daughter - thank goodness FRAME has a creche or I'd have to keep her in the lockers.
- What are you just never going to try? Cow urine therapy. Seriously, that yoga teacher was on crack. I don't care how great I'll feel, I will never drink cow pee.

Neha Swears By Intervals and Sprouted Mung Beans
We ask your fellow strivers in fitness personal questions, they boldly answer. Today's snapshot: Neha, aka starry04.
- What's your go-to workout? Interval running – either a change every minute, or a 3-2 split run followed by some weights.
- What's the healthiest thing you eat? Sprouted mung beans – low calorie high protein. I don’t eat that very often, so the second healthiest thing I eat is probably plain greek yogurt. Some of the ones with fruit flavors have too much added sugar. Sometimes I mix in fresh fruit if I’m in the mood for it.

Liz Brings The Library To The Pool
We ask your fellow strivers in fitness personal questions, they boldly answer. Today's snapshot: Liz, aka lizh.
- What's your number one workout spot? At the moment it's the swimming pool at the community center right next door to the library I work at. It's pretty awesome. All the daycares and summer camps at the center use the pool too, and the kids freak out when I swim at the same time as them. "Miss Liz, what are you doing HERE?," "Lookit, Miss Liz, Look at me!," "Go Miss Liz!," and my personal favorite, "Hey! The library is here!"
- What's your secret (fitness-related) sin? I loath discomfort,so I tend to quit things when they get difficult. Or when the weather gets gross. Or when I'm tired. Or when I need a snack. I really lack stick-to-itiveness.

Laura Carries a Yoga Mat in Her Suitcase and Remembers When Running Felt Like Soaring
We ask your fellow strivers in fitness personal questions, they boldly answer. Today's snapshot: Laura, aka vajardin.
- What would you do (fitness-wise) if you had all the time and ability in the world? Time is not an issue for me, but ability certainly is. I wish I could run. Every once in a while when I am in top shape I attempt it, but it always kills my knees and then I am injured and cannot do any exercise. I remember when I was younger and I used to run and it felt like I was soaring. I would love to experience that again
- What's your secret (fitness-related) sin? My lips are sealed.

Lauren Tracks Smiles During Her Runs
We ask your fellow strivers in fitness personal questions, they boldly answer. Today's snapshot: Lauren, aka stealthyLo.
- What do you wear to the gym? All that matters is what's on the ends: Adidas Supernova on my feet, Moving Comfort's Fiona sports bra on top. Any tank and shorts / spandex will do otherwise. I like wearing shirts from past races when I'm feeling particularly on top of my game; major props for good swag.
- What's your go-to workout? A 3-to-4-mile run, keeping track of how many people actually smile back at me, followed by half an hour of weight lifting.

Ashley Hates The Gym But Loves Her Some Spreadsheets
We ask your fellow strivers in fitness personal questions, they boldly answer. Today's snapshot: Ashley, aka swell1.
- What's your secret (fitness-related) sin? I HATE the gym. I have tried to like gyms, because they offer a wider variety of activities, but I have to go out of my way to get there and then inevitably once you’ve gone out of your way to get there the class you want is already full, and all of the treadmills are taken, and there are people sweating everywhere. Yuck. So I stick to sporting leagues, running outside and the same old workout videos.
- What's your number one workout spot? Now that its winter [in Australia], my living room – I do yoga and aerobics videos plus the occasional stress relieving evening dance-it-out party, but in the summer I spend as much time outside as possible.

When He's Not Busy Rap Battling, Matt Makes Amazing Breakfasts
We ask your fellow strivers in fitness personal questions, they boldly answer. Today's snapshot: Matt, aka Matty_G_Fresh. Special thanks to photographer Jessica Valle for "The Yoguitarist" photo.
- What do you wear to the gym? A Speedo™ and a smile. Mmmm...just enjoy that image being burned into your mind for a minute..........that tingle means it's working. Just kidding, usually it's a pair of Starter™ brand moisture wicking workout pants and shirt. They work well and I can buy them at Wal-Mart for cheap, which is good when you're as lower middle class as I am.
- What's the healthiest thing you eat? I eat pretty healthily in general, but I'd say probably my typical breakfast of 3 organic eggs with baby bella mushrooms and goat cheese all cooked up in coconut oil and sprinkled with a dash of sodium free Greek Spice.

Laura Doesn't Really Like Exercise Unless It Involves Lying Down
We ask your fellow strivers in fitness personal questions, they boldly answer. Today's snapshot: Laura, aka vonhottie.
- What do you wear to the gym? As many pink accessories as possible, a Shock Absorber bra, and a shirt that's either pink or has a slogan like, "Hooray for Boobies!" I always wear hot pink lipstick because it's like war paint and it's only fair of me to warn people what they're dealing with.
- What's the best thing in your gym bag? My great gym bag secret is to carry loose dryer sheets inside, because you can go from the gym to dinner to three cocktail parties, two more afterparties, a sleepover, and an awkward breakfast followed by a full day, then forget about the gym and your sweaty old workout clothes for four days, and your gym bag will still be bouncing-teddy-bear fresh.

Meret Harbors Stuntwoman Fantasies and Swears By Her Heart Rate Monitor
Every day, we give you a snapshot of one fellow striver in fitness. We ask personal questions, he or she boldly answers. Today's snapshot: Meret, aka msh258.
- What's your number one workout spot? Usually, I'm at Crunch Union Square, and I'm obsessed! But, since I've signed up for the marathon-that-goes-straight-uphill-for-15-miles, I've been running outside a lot — in Central Park, over the bridges, along the water...
- What's the best thing in your gym bag? My heart rate monitor. It's seriously been the best fitness investment I ever made. It doesn't matter how I feel, if I'm tired and lacking motivation, or absolutely ready to go 150%, this little guy keeps me completely honest about how hard I'm actually working. I guess, the Vibrams are pretty awesome too! And, they're definitely conversation starters!

- What's your secret (fitness-related) sin? Sometimes I think I’m the token fitness sinner on SW. I don’t do things the way other people do, or according to anyone's standards but my own. But I also do things like drunk runs, and follow spin class with Red Lobster Cheese Biscuits. Gym wise, I’ve been known to walk out of classes in a hurry if I don’t feel it. I think that's considered rude by most gym-goers. The one "sin" that upsets me is when I don’t follow through, or just kind of fall of the exercise wagon.
